2050 Regional Plan Meeting for Climate, Bike/Walk, etc.

To shape the ON TO 2050 comprehensive regional plan, the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) is conducting extensive public engagement around five Alternative Futures:

Changed Climate
Walkable Communities
Innovative Transportation
Constrained Resources
Transformed Economy

Each has distinct factors that could significantly shape our region for decades to come.

On Tuesday, August 1, 2017, the Village of Wilmette and CMAP will host a public workshop to discuss ON TO 2050 and the Alternative Futures at the Village Council Chambers from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Join us for a conversation about the five futures and to share your feedback on how planning today can help shape the future of the region. CMAP will carefully consider all input while drafting the comprehensive regional plan prior to its adoption in October 2018.
